Our Approach

How Ananda works differently.

We've reimagined the plant medicine retreat around one question: what would it look like if people were actually held with the care they deserve?

Trauma-Informed

Every team member is trained in trauma-informed care. We assume the body remembers, and we move at the pace of safety — never urgency.

Somatic Support

Healing happens in the body. We weave breath, movement, and nervous-system practices into every part of the retreat.

Ancestral Respect

We work in lineage. Our ayahuasca ceremonies are led by Shipibo maestros from Peru. We honor the cultures, plants, and elders we learn from.

Real Integration

Three months of one-on-one and group integration after you leave. The medicine opens the door — integration is how you walk through it.

Our Medicines

Three sacred plants, one held container.

Shipibo Lineage

Ayahuasca

A traditional Amazonian brew (ayahuasca vine + chacruna leaf) used ceremonially for centuries. Held in classic Shipibo ceremony, supported by our somatic and integration team.

Sacred Mushroom

Psilocybin

A gentle, accessible medicine for clarity, healing, and emotional release. Often a first step for those new to plant medicine.

Grandfather Cactus

San Pedro · Huachuma

A heart-opening Andean cactus medicine taken in daytime ceremony — slow, expansive, and rooted in nature and connection.
